Bellfield is the new community hub at the heart of Portobello and Joppa.

[Temporary notice: The coronavirus means we’ve had to suspend all lettings until further notice. However, we welcome suggestions as to how Bellfield might be used in these times, and are already considering some real possibilities. We’ll keep you informed here, on our social media pages and in any updates to members.]

After a campaign to save the former Portobello Old Parish Church buildings for community use, the group Action Porty were granted the right to buy the buildings by the Scottish Government. The Scottish Land fund agreed to cover 94% of the purchase price. Bellfield re-opened to the community with a day of celebrations on Saturday 23rd June 2018.

A range of spaces are now available for both community and commercial use. For enquiries about hiring Bellfield please email bookings@bellfield.scot and one of our volunteers will get back to you.
