With the nights drawing in we plan on warming Bellfield up with a series of footstompin, toetappin, handclappin, kiltswingin, ceilidhs, courtesy of Da Hooley ceilidh band. Bring your granny, your neighbour, your friends who can dance, and those who can’t. The caller will be keeping everyone on track and the Skylark bar will be keeping everyone hydrated.
Naturally all of the fun is for a good cause. Each ceilidh will help raise funds for a different local organisation so get the dates in your diary:
Sat 22nd Sep 2018 – fundraising for Bellfield
Sat 29th Dec 2018 – fundraising for Portobello Timebank
Sat 19th Jan 2019 – fundraising for Towerbank primary school
Satu 20th Apr 2019 – fundraising for The Wash House
Tickets (£12/£10) for the first ceilidh on Saturday 22 September are available in person from The Skylark or Velvet Easel Gallery on the High Street. A limited number of tickets are available online at Brown Paper Tickets. Find out more about the band at the Da Hooley website.
