Thursday 6 December 2018, 6.30pm – 8.30pm
Kicking off at The Pitz on Westbank, join a host of local performers, musicians and choirs to follow Santa and his sleigh (provided by Beach Wheelchairs Portobello) on a festive parade through Porty. Stopping first at the Town Hall on Portobello High Street, where the Christmas lights will be switched on at 6.30pm, the parade continues on to Bellfield for another festive lights switch-on at 6.45pm. The procession coincides with a special late-night shopping event, which sees local businesses staying open until 8.30pm.
